Capt. Bob Odegaard has loved aviation since he was very young child. The North Dakota farm where he was born is only 7 miles from the airport where he works today. His company rebuilds classic planes. When the work is completed, Capt. Bob does a test flight to make sure everything is in working order. With 42 years and over 17,000 hours of flight time, including. 31 years as a crop dusting pilot without a single accident, this accomplished pilot has flown everything from gliders to Lear jets, seaplanes and helicopters. On occasion he performs aerobatics in both the Mustang and Corsair, and can sometimes be seen streaking across the sky in an F6f Hell Cat, the P-40 Warhawk, Yak 3 or T-28 Trojan His pilot's license grants him the right to fly “All makes and models of single and multiengine powered authorized aircraft,” an endorsement that is no longer available to pilots.
